Junior Business Analyst

Role Overview
As a Junior Business Analyst within the OneOdyssey team, you will support data-driven projects, operational improvements, and assist with initiatives relating to training, user adoption, and project management. This entry-level role is suited for recent graduates or early career professionals enthusiastic about analytics, insurance, and organizational change.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and support operational and business reports, including summary presentations for stakeholders.
• Document and map business workflows, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Participate in project meetings, prepare meeting notes, and track progress of key deliverables.
• Assist with the creation and updating of user guides, training materials, FAQs, and quick reference documents for new systems and processes.
• Help organize and support internal training sessions both virtual and onsite to facilitate user adoption of new tools or procedures.
• Utilize Microsoft Stream to help create, edit, or distribute training content.
• Gather feedback from users, summarize adoption challenges, and help refine training and communication approaches.
• Maintain project documentation, timelines, and action items using project management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Visio, Power Suite).
• Research market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices relating to reinsurance.
• Shadow senior analysts and participate in cross-functional discussions (with actuarial, underwriting, finance, and IT teams).
• Present findings and contribute suggestions at team meetings.
• Proactively contribute to strategies that raise end-user adoption of new systems or processes.

• Demonstrated ability or coursework in change management or methods for raising end-user adoption
