Senior Claims Specialist, Professional Liability

Position Description:  The Claims Specialist is responsible for the coverage analysis, investigation, negotiation and settlement of professional liability claims.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of claims experience handling professional liability claims. Experience handling miscellaneous professional liability, architects & engineers, insurance agents and/or lawyers claims preferred.
• Experience handling claims on a nationwide basis, with a concentration in California and Florida.
• Ability to travel to mediations, as required.
• Must possess good writing and presentation skills.
• Must be able to partner with our Program administrators to support program growth.
• Bachelor’s degree required, JD preferred.

In New York City, NY the pay range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This range is specific to New York City, NY and may not be applicable to other locations.
