Position Description: This is a 10-week summer internship program running from June 1 to August 7, 2026. This role is for candidates currently pursuing a college or university degree with an accredited institution and consists of on-the-job learning, along with a final presentation, in addition to any department-specific projects and tasks. The Process Optimization Intern will have the opportunity to support the Operations & IT functions across a broad swath of initiatives including contributing to the creation of governance frameworks, process documentation, and ad-hoc projects. Essential Duties:

  • Analyze operational data & processes across different functions (Finance, Claims & UW).
  • Recommend technological and operational improvements.
  • Draft SOPs for various departments to increase standardization.
  • Ad-hoc projects to increase standardization.
  • Ad-hoc projects within the broader Operations & IT functions.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills needed, as well as high attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Rising junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
  • All majors welcome.

 

Interns will work in-person during the work week from the New York City office located at 100 William Street, following a typical office schedule of a 9am-5pm working day, allowing for a 1-hour lunch break. The pay range for this role is $20-30/hr.
