Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Analytics Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical expertise and technical skills to mine and interpret complex data sets, transforming them into actionable insights that drive sustainable business growth and operational efficiency. A successful candidate will possess strong expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Power BI, along with the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders at various levels.
Essential Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytical solutions that support business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and drive growth.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in report generation.
- Design and implement visually compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI, enabling stakeholders to easily interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver customized solutions that address business challenges and opportunities.
- Identify key metrics and performance indicators that align with organizational goals, utilizing data to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Conduct thorough analysis of data trends, patterns, and anomalies to provide insights that promote operational efficiencies and enhance business performance.
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytical solutions that support business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and drive growth.
- Prepare and present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
- Extensive experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau and Power BI, to create insightful dashboards and reports.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all analytical outputs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a passion for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Experience in project management methodologies is an advantage, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role.
Office Requirements
This role offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidate is required to attend New York City office at least 3 times a week.
In New York City, NY the pay range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This range is specific to New York City, NY and may not be applicable to other locations.
