Position Summary:
The Statistical and Data Reporting Coordinator is responsible for the various compliance requirements and initiatives of the Hudson Insurance Group and associated companies.
Essential Duties:
- Statistical reporting research and coordinated preparation/submission with internal business partners.
- Responsible for Purchasing Group, Fraud, and other compliance-related statistical reporting.
- Prepare, validate, and reconcile statistical reporting data (e.g., reasonableness checks, outlier review, tie-outs to source systems) and maintain supporting documentation.
- Maintain statistical reporting calendars, submission confirmations, and evidence files to support auditability and record retention.
- Corporate reporting support in association with annual statement filings and other required schedules, as applicable to statistical reporting scope.
- Assist in researching and responding to market conduct inquiries.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Superior organizational, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and people simultaneously.
- This position requires the ability to work independently.
- Maintains confidentiality of company-sensitive data.
- Keeps supervisor informed of activities and situations, which will impact the achievement of corporate, and department goals and objectives.
- Performs other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the company and department.
- Bachelor’s degree required with coursework in IT (SQL is essential), insurance, economics, finance, mathematics or related filed.
- 3-5 years of experience in compliance, insurance law, paralegal work, or similar insurance operations roles.
In New York City, NY the pay range for the role is $75,000 - $110,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. In addition, Hudson offers a comprehensive benefits package. This range is specific to New York City, NY and may not be applicable to other locations.
