Position Summary: The Compliance Specialist is responsible for the various compliance requirements and initiatives of the Hudson Insurance Group and associated companies.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Data call research and coordinated response with HRT.
  • Responsible for Purchasing Group and Fraud related reporting via submission to Hudson’s vendors to ensure compliance with various statues.
  • Maintaining the Agency Assignment System
  • Corporate reporting in association with annual statement filings
  • Secretary of State Annual reporting
  • Assist in researching and responding to market conduct inquiries.

  • Superior organizational, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and people simultaneously.
  • This position requires the ability to work independently.
  • Maintains confidentiality of company-sensitive data.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of activities and situations, which will impact the achievement of corporate, and department goals and objectives.
  • Performs other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the company and department.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 0-2 years of experience in compliance, insurance law, paralegal work, or similar insurance operations roles
