We are a dynamic organization able to respond to today’s highly complex risk environment and are committed to the training and development of our future leaders.  We are seeking candidates to fill a Risk Analyst role.  This role is based in our Stamford, CT office and will assist the Enterprise Risk Management department in quantifying and assessing company risk. 

Essential Functions:

• Assist in capital modeling for ERM report
• Research and update capital model parameters
• Assist in external retro placement
• Support operation and validation of Cyber model
• Validation of catastrophe modeling systems and assist in quarterly analysis and preparation of related exhibits

Skills, Knowledge & Ability:

• Experience in SQL Server and R
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
• Strong analytic and organizational skills
• Reinsurance/Insurance industry experience
• Experience working with Tyche a plus

Education: 

• Bachelor’s Degree: in mathematics, finance, business or economics preferred
• 3 to 5 years experience
• ACAS or near ACAS
